Phelia has been on the leadership team since 2019. She is experienced in finance, human resources, and business management. As business administrator, her goals include helping others to be successful in any way she can and to be a better human than she was yesterday. Driven by her faith, she takes pride in providing the best she can in the moment she is in. In addition to her primary job functions Phelia is committed to her family, her husband Preston of 28 years, her son, Parker, her daughter Hannah and son-in-law Blake, along with her grandchildren, Lilly, Luke, and Tyler. Most would say she followed her daughter to Durango in the fall of 2015, but she likes to say she just happened to fall in love with the area at the same time. Phelia enjoys spending time around the table with her family and friends. She believes that is where the deepest conversations and real relationship happens. She doesn’t mind a little food or a board game in the center of the table either though.
She is reminded that in Isaiah 49:15 -16 God says, “Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you. Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me”. She lives by these words to help her get through the rough days, but most of all the praises of the good days.
